Life is Like a Road
Life is like a road. It has bumps, cracks, and obstacles, but in the end it gets you somewhere.
Lessons are not only learned thru studying, books, teachers and parents. There are lesson that we learn from people who surround us, work with us and most importantly as we grow as a person. Our actions and what we do are the creations of what we think the right thing to do. Its outcome can be fruitful, some can interpret it as only a shallow result and while some will think it’s not good at all. I have learned many lessons in life a good example about that is work in real life and making a hard earned money. My first ever job is to be part of a fast food company as a crew, the concept of work that came to my mind is that you have to smile and interact with people. As I continue it gets getting tough in the sense that I have to learn many different things like how to properly clean a fast food restaurant and how to give courtesy while smiling, be patient and that customer’s are always right. My learning and perceptive grew when my manager saw potential in me that’s why it took me by surprise that he wanted me to do many other things outside my comfort zone and that is to manage the cashier area. Eventually I preceded to be a trainer for both the front of the house and the cashier counter. Reminiscing my past it was hard for me to learn all of this because I was young and naïve but when I realize that I am learning the hard way plus they are the most invaluable lessons. The outcome is very rewarding it pushes me to do better and learn even more. It makes me a better person because I know how to face challenges in the real world. Experiencing this early molds me to better understand of what I can be for the future.
